Working Group wants to engage members of our congregation in our efforts to make a difference. Many of you have already been involved in various actions and have responded to requests on behalf of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers, but we now want to coordinate what we do into a robust working group. Some of you may also be working or volunteering with immigrants or agencies that support immigrants, and it would be great if you could join us for a special evening described below. All are welcome! Special Evening Program: Wednesday, June 25th at 7:00 in the Heschel-King Room. Our guest speakers will include representatives from Welcoming Homes, a group that hosts asylum seekers founded by our own Mindy Maslin and Sid Ozer. Judi Bernstein-Baker will also provide an overview of recent policies.
