Tots and Teens
We happily engage our young members in a number of age appropriate opportunities.
Tot Shabbat
Tot Shabbat engages children ages 2 to 6 and their caregivers in singing and dancing in sweet celebration of Shabbat. Meeting for approximately one hour a few times per year, Tot Shabbat is meaningful fun for all the participants. There is no charge, and drop-ins are always welcome!

The Beit Midrash: A Pop-Up Comics Makerspace
Explore Jewish themes and identities through the art of comics! This innovative four-session series combines creativity, storytelling, and Jewish learning in an exciting new format. Using the fable of the Four Who Entered Paradise as our organizing structure, we'll dive into themes of Jewish rebellion while creating original comics.
Designed primarily for teens but welcoming to adults, The Beit Midrash is perfect for anyone curious about Jewish paths to creative expression. Sessions meet monthly starting January 2026, with a modular curriculum that builds on itself—attend all four for the full experience, or drop in for individual sessions that interest you.
Whether you're an experienced artist or have never drawn a comic before, come discover new ways to engage with Jewish stories and express your own voice through sequential art.

Repro Shabbat is an annual Shabbat celebration that honors the Jewish value of reproductive freedom. Created by the National Council of Jewish Women, communities all around the world celebrate Repro Shabbat in tandem with the Torah reading, Parshat Mishpatim, which contains the verses commonly referenced as the foundation of Judaism’s approach to reproductive health, rights, and justice. -
